pressure relief valves
Pressure Relief Valvess
Pressure Relief Valves
Application
Pressure relief valves (also called safety valves) are fitted downstream from the pump to protect the pump against overpressure.
The required relief pressure can be adjusted by a setting screw which in turn holds a spring in the appropriate position.
Pressure relief valves are available in 2 designs:
- mounted directly to the pump
- mounted in-line downstream from the pump
