The UK-manufactured Magnom™, as used in Formula 1, is a revolutionary product in advanced fluid conditioning. Using magnetic field effect technology, the Magnom™ reduces operating costs and simultaneously benefits the environment.
Through its unique patented design, the Magnom removes contaminant particles down to less than one micron from a variety of fluids. This includes the smallest and most abrasive particles that are responsible for the destructive chain reaction of wear in many processes. Unlike conventional fluid conditioning components, the Magnom produces minimal pressure drop in the fluid. It has no moving parts and is 100% scaleable. It also functions in a diverse range of fluid pressures, temperatures and flow rates.
The Magnom is easily installed in a wide variety of applications - either as part of new systems or as a replacement to enhance existing processes.

The Filtertechnik PC9000 contamination and condition monitor is both a particle counter and low-cost on-line vibration sensor, operating as an optical sensor, counter, sampler and offering a programmable user interface. Although its operation is similar to traditional particle counters, it should be considered as a particle monitor, performing at a fraction of the cost of a particle counter. The built-in sampling port facilitates oil sampling when the particle trend or alarm limit indicates that investigation is required. It is available in several configurations that allow on-line or in-line plumbing options, and uses a variety of interface modules (IM9000) that allow data collection via fibre optic cable output to a range of industrystandard communication protocols. The PC9000 monitor complies with ISO Medium Test Dust (MTD) and ISO Ultra Fine Test Dust (UFTD).
